A gentle setting of this beloved hymn, Blessed Assurance for string quartet takes the listener to a place of peaceful calm in Christ. A final setting in the classic “deedly deedly” adds just enough familiarity to fly in most Baptist churches but not so much that the Anglicans can’t enjoy it.
