Beginning with acapella choir and soloist and growing into a sweeping, powerful climax, I Heard the Bells On Christmas Day is a tour de force for any choir and tenor soloist. Utilizing both tunes, this piece tells the story of a man who nearly lost all hope until discovering the assurance Christ can bring when he hears the bells on Christmas day.
